The KZN Youth Orchestra will present a concert called “Contrasts”. The music which is presented by the cream of the Kzn ‘s young musicians will be varied offering tastes of the classics and some modern pieces. A highlight of the concert will be a guest performance by international sax sensation Andrew Young who will perform as a soloist alongside the youth orchestra. Originally from the UK, Andrew now plays all over the world wowing audiences with his virtuosic saxophone technique. He will play some great pop and contemporary melodies with the backing of the orchestra. The orchestra will be conducted by Lyk Temmingh and Cathy Peacock. “Contrasts” is a concert offering great entertainment for all ages.
