Award-winning jazz musician Dumza Maswana returns to home soil to record his first-ever live DVD. Accompanied by his 10-piece band, Peddie born Soul & Jazz singer Dumza Maswana will record a live concert performance for his very first DVD production. The occasion is foregrounded by Dumza’s SAMA-nominated album titled Molo which was released in 2016. The album earned Dumza his rightful place in the music industry with some referring to him as a jazz legend in the making. This never-seen-before occasion will showcase one of Eastern Cape’s much-lauded artists in a spectacular show which will be taking place at the Guild Theatre, East London.
The live recording will feature music from his two previous albums, Iphupha Lam and his South African Music Awards and Mzansi Jazz Awards nominated album Molo. This will be a first of kind for Dumza and his supporters as they get to experience the jazz Maestro like they have never seem him before.
