The Eastern Cape Music Awards (ECMAS) is the brainchild of Koko Godlo, a well-renowned talent scout who has produced big names in the entertainment industry. Due to his vision and realising the need to nature, provide exposure and to celebrate our own artist, the ECMAS first came to life on the 17th October 2015, in an event that categorised by gilts, glamour and the cream of the crop when it comes to talent born and bred in the Eastern Cape.

There has been a great industry buzz and excitement as artist and supporters alike eagerly await the announcement for the nominees for the 3rd Annual ECMAS, an event which is scheduled to take place on the 2nd February 2019 at the Guild Theatre in East London. It is a great pleasure to announce that this year is going to be ECMAS and WOZA MZALA AFRICA MUSIC FESTIVAL and that means that this big event is going to start @ 7.00 pm. ECMAS has produced lots of artist like Nathi Mankayi, Vusi Nova, Bethusile Mcinga, Butho &Yolanda Vuthela, Mobi Dixon, Berita and these entire artist went on and win National Awards.
