Joanna Wright School of Ballet is delighted to present the classic tale of Peter Pan. Based on the story by JM Barry it tells the tale of the boy who never wants to grow up.

Peter Pan together with Tinkerbell, enter the nursery of the Darling family and persuade Wendy, John and Michael Darling to fly back to Neverland with them.

Here they experience wonderful adventures with the Lost Boys, the Crocodile and the Indians. The beautiful Mermaids pool is the scene of Tiger Lily’s kidnapping but Peter Pan comes to her rescue. When the boys are kidnapped from their underground home by a band of pirates, a battle ensues and eventually the evil Captain Hook is defeated.

The Darling children decide to return home and invite the Lost Boys to join their family. Peter Pan, who wishes to stay a young boy forever, returns to Neverland with Tinkerbell.

Presented by a cast of dancers from the age of five upwards this charming ballet is guaranteed to delight and enthral both young and old alike. It is filled with comedy, magical highlights and beautiful dancing. The musical score of the ballet was especially composed by Gerry Bosman and it is guaranteed that you will go home singing theme tunes well after the curtain has come down.
