It’s one love, one heart this month of love as award winning director Xola Mziwakhe brings William Shakespeare’s classic play Romeo and Juliet to the stage. Reimagined and set in post 1994 South Africa, two young lovers from feuding families secretly get married with the help of a local priest who longs for a reconciliation between the two families. However due to unforeseen circumstances, Romeo and Juliet are led to take their own lives and upon hearing of their untimely deaths, the two families reconcile in the name of peace and love.
